Advertising

Updates from the Bunker uses advertising to help pay for hosting, research, production, and continued development of its open files.

Editorial independence

Advertising does not determine what UftB covers, how a project is evaluated, or what conclusions are published. Advertisers do not receive advance review or approval of editorial material.

Placement standards

Advertising is kept outside navigation, controls, manuscript text, interactive visualizations, and other areas where it could be mistaken for UftB content. Ad density is intentionally limited to protect readability and performance. Ads are not intentionally placed on privacy, advertising, contact, corrections, or editorial-standards pages.

Identification

Advertising supplied by Google or another future partner is identified by the provider. Sponsored editorial work, if introduced, will be labeled separately and prominently.

Privacy

Advertising and measurement may involve cookies or similar technologies. Read the privacy policy for details and available choices.
